OurFood in association with its partner organizations ANP and NFCG conducted a GMP training session for the staff of Rau Ram Cafe in Bacolod City on July 7, 2015.
The training was held at Rau Ram Cafe and was attended by the owner of Rau Ram Cafe – Sylvia Gerangue and her staff consisting of his food service crew and wait staff.
The facilitators and lecturers for the training were Ms. Reneelou Balaba and Dr. Martin Aquino of the Negrense Food Consultancy group.
Some of the topics discussed but not limited to were:
- Common pathogens and food safety guidelines
- Handwashing
- Personal Hygiene
- Cross contamination
- Food Preparation
- Raw Materials
- Serving of Food
